Use this menu to search for any combination of the following pieces of information...

Clicking the intersection option will pan and zoom to show all of the geometric intersections of the road center line segments.

Selected Location

After placing a crash, check this option and others to pan and zoom to show all relevant location information.

Searched Road

To search for a road, click the eye icon next to that road's name in the left sidebar, then click 'Zoom to Result' in the pop-up message, or choose Navigate to... Searched Road. This will pan and zoom to the line segment(s) found in the search, which will be highlighted in yellow.

When necessary, use the mile marker search tool to query the VDOT Linear Referencing System’s measurement values for a given mile marker. This is a rough approximation and should only be used as such.

Use the address search tool to locate a given street address. This tool queries the VGIN locator service to generate an address point. Be aware that this service is dependent on proper formatting.
